THE TERRA COTTA CAMEL

My previous novel, The Wrestler (Wipf and Stock, 2021), was set in Pennsylvania during the 1970s and 1980s. The Terra Cotta Camel takes place in near-present-day Iowa. A group of characters in an imaginary Des Moines neighborhood comes together around a coffee shop, an urban farm, and a small clay figure that mysteriously returns from the past.
